We wanted to give you a quick update on what’s been going on over here in Atomic over the last little while. We’ve been putting together some finishing touches on advanced motion control and released a few new improvements. Read on to discover the latest.
Hotspot visibility toggle lets you focus on your design
You can now toggle the visibility of a hotspot in the Layers panel, or toggle all of them using ⌘ + Shift + H. This way you can hide your hotspots in the editor, while keeping them active when previewing.
No longer a guessing game, distribute your elements evenly using the new distribution options. Just select the elements and the options will appear at top and center of the editor.
Smarter auto naming of layers
We felt the pain too - having many layers called ‘Text’ was making it time consuming to find the layer you wanted. Now text layers will be named to match their content, and hotspots will contain the name of the page they link to.
Fixes and improvements:
- Elements now rotate properly inside groups when using the properties panel
- Added numpad shortcuts for zooming, resetting the canvas and toggling panels
- Hotspots now work on touchscreen Windows machines
- New shortcuts for showing the Layers and Pages panel. Check out our new and improved shortcuts modal by hitting ?
