Connect Atomic to your favourite code editor with Atomic Assistant

JavaScript expressions are a great way to push your Atomic prototypes further. They let you retrieve and manipulate variables, perform math and logic tests, and use the results to update variables or trigger component changes.

It’s simple to write and edit script expressions from within Atomic; you don’t need any special software. However, as your scripts grow larger or more complex, you may want more space to edit them, or a more powerful editing environment.

Atomic Assistant is here to help

Assistant is a lightweight (Mac) app that connects Atomic to your favourite desktop code editor. With a click of a button, you can pop any script from Atomic out into your desktop editor, and when you save, changes will sync right back.

Download Atomic Assistant

Download Atomic Assistant to get started. Once installed, you’ll see the little Atomic icon on the toolbar at the top of your screen. The icon will light up when you have Atomic open and Assistant is connected. Click the icon to change your settings. That’s it!
